As a seasoned Architect, I feel confident that I would be a great addition to your team. I have over ten years of experience working in residential, commercial and hospitality projects. While I have experience in a variety of disciplines, I consider my strengths to be design and project development. I am originally from Mexico City where I studied and worked as an independent architect before moving to the United States in 2002. Therefore, my native language is Spanish, but I have studied both English and German since childhood. 

As for specific skills, I have experience drafting, designing, and developing highly detailed construction documents for projects of all scales. Furthermore, I have coordinated with contractors and manufacturers as well as performed on-site construction supervision of over seventy workers. I have a proven ability to manage the development of a project from conception to completion and have a reputation for being reliable, delivering quality results and collaborating well with people at all levels. To complement the array of my abilities, I also have participated in interior and furniture design. 

I have included the work samples that I am most proud of which include: 

1) “217 pearl st”, in Manhattan New York, a 52 story concrete structure building which dwells two hotel towers superimposed on one another with an area of over 250,000 sq ft. Part of my responsibilities at Gene Kaufman Architect, P.C. were the production of Construction Documentation throughout all phases of the project including partial design solutions and coordination with contractors and engineers. 

2) For the “Hotel Crion” in Paris, At the Office of Thierry Despont I was in charge of defining the interior elements and solving issues in all aspects of design and project development. Construction Documents and a number of detail and shop drawings were part of my duties as well. 

Also have served as:

-Independent Architectural Designer for over ten years, designing office spaces, 1,800 – 6,000 sq. ft., restaurants, recording studios, apartments and houses, a plaza pharmacy, and a renovation of a post-graduate homeopathy school.

Project Architect and Manager in New York City in charge of commercial high rise building such as hotels and hospitality projects of over 50 stories high.

- Site Supervisor at various residential building projects in New York City and Mexico City with up to 70 people under my direct supervision.

- Eleven years as an experienced AutoCad operator responsible for all phases of projects from primary sketches to final executive construction document sets compliant to codes of different cities and countries in Metric and English measuring systems.
